Course Objective

The course is designed to train professionals with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage and maintain statutory registers, documentation, and records in a Cooperative Housing Society (CHS). Participants will learn about the rules, regulations, and bye-laws governing CHS, along with the processes involved in meetings, decision-making, documentation, and record-keeping in compliance with the MCS Act and Rules.

Course Contents

Registers and Books Required for a Co-Operative Housing Society. The following books and registers must be maintained as per the rules and regulations governing Co-Operative Housing Societies:

  9. Fixed Assets Register
  10. Cash Book
  11. Journal Ledger
  12. Members Ledger
  13. Voucher Expenses File
  14. Minutes Book of Meetings of the Managing Committee
  15. Minutes Book of Meetings of the General Body
  16. Minutes Book of Meetings of the Special Body
  17. Audit Rectification Register – O Form (Prescribed under MCS Rules, 1961)
  18. Structural and Fire Audit Register & Lift Inspection Records
  19. Maintenance of Various Files

Admission Process:

  • Eligibility: 12th Pass/ Society Work Experience
  • Duration: 1 Months (Saturday - Sunday)
  • Training Mode: Online Live Session, Practical, and Assignment.
